Communities of Learning Kāhui Ako:
Brian and Mary are available to support your Communities of Learning Kāhui Ako for up to 30 days a year via Ministry funding. Brian was programme director and Mary was Lead Facilitator for the highly successful Learning and Change Networks strategy. Mary also supported LCN Science networks. - identify what sits underneath the achievement challenges – academic, social and emotional needs from a student perspective through
- Infinity Mapping process
- both Learning Maps and Engagement/Behavioural Maps

Mary also went on to support Science LCN networks. OECD studied the LCN strategy as part of the Innovative Learning Environments Project and included information about it in the publication: “Schooling Redesigned Towards Innovative Learning Systems.”
Infinity Learning Maps provides you with
- the student’s perspectives alongside leaders’ and teachers’ perspectives to inform your community achievement challenge.
- the students taking responsibility to address their personalised achievement challenges in relation to the community challenge. Students also outline the support they would prefer from their teachers and families.
Your achievement challenge will become much more relevant to the students and they will take greater responsibility in addressing the challenges.
